"MY TEACHER, MY HERO"

Sometimes, a hero is not always someone who wears a cape or saves the world. Sometimes, a hero is someone who patiently guides us, encourages us to be strong, and helps us to believe in ourselves. They are the ones who stood by our side as a second parent and teach us not just lessons from the books but also lessons about life.

When I was in elementary, my teachers were always there by my side. They taught me how to read, write, and count. They were patiently teaching me when I struggled to spell simple words or solve math problems. I remember back then when my father was in the hospital. I didn't go to school for about a month because I was there for my Papa. When my father discharged, I planned to stop my study because of my absences, but good thing that my elementary teacher talked to my parents and asked them to send me to school again. Because of him I decided to continue my study.

In my high school, my teachers encouraged me to think deeper and dream bigger. They teach us to dream beyond the walls of the classroom, and to believe that we can achieve more. January 2022 when face to face resumed from the pandemic time, I did not go to school because our school head said that we can't enter into the school campus if we are not vaccinated. After a week, one of my teachers went to the house and asked why I didn't go to school. So, I told her the reason and she's the one who convinced me to go back to school because it is okay. What I did is continue my study.

Now, in my college, my teachers continue to inspire me, and pushed me to be strong despite my struggles. Their experiences that they shared inspire me to keep pushing forward even in the darkest times. They taught me to be more strong despite and face the difficulties that I can encounter along the way. Yes, I admit that I am not the smartest student. I have difficulties with English, and sometimes I get angry. I feel weak and disappointed, but my teacher never made me feel less. They encouraged me, corrected me when I was wrong, and reminded me that learning is a process. They showed that success is not about how intelligent or perfect you are, but it's all about your determination, hard work and how you fight for your future. For not giving up and always believe in yourself.

More than anything, my teacher was not just a source of knowledge, but a source of my strength and motivation. Their passion in teaching inspire me to continue my journey and become one of them in the future. Even that they had their own problems, they still smiled and reminded me that education is the key to a brighter future. I always be grateful to have the teachers like them, for their guidance, patience, kindness and for the unconditional love that they imparted for their students.

From my teachers in elementary to my instructors in college, each one of them has played a role in shaping who I am today. My teachers are my heroes, not because they have superpowers, but because they have the heart to change lives, and change the perspectives of every students.
