My Unforgettable Experience in Life

Each of us had one experience in life that we can never forget. And one of the scariest and most unforgettable moments in my life was when my father, one of my sisters and I, almost got swept away by a flood.

That day, the water in the river was still low, so we decided to cross it so that we can go home. At first, everything seemed okay. The current was slow, and we thought that we could make it. But when we reach the middle of the river, the flood suddenly became stronger. The water rose quickly, and we couldn't go forward or return. We were stuck.

We started to panic, but then we saw a branch of a tree nearby. We managed to grab it and held on tightly. But the branch broke. I didn't even realized what happened. I lost awareness and later found myself holding on to a broken piece of wood without knowing that it doesn't have a function. My father was the one who holds me while he was also holding on to another branch, but it turned out that it was only the bark holding on and ready to peel off.

The world seems so dark and when we lose hope, the water current pulled us toward the side of the river. We saw a spot where we could climb, my father told us to climb, then that's when I started to regain consciousness. We finally made it to safety. And right after we got to the edge, the tree branch that we were holding on to got carried away by the flood. We were just in time.

This experience teach me that in life, there is a time that you can push to the edge or experience a difficult situation without warning. It test your strength, your faith, and your will to survive. But even in the darkest moment when you feel helpless, hopeless, and ready to give up, miracles can happen. They don't always come with light and music. Sometimes, they come in form of a father's arm, or a strong current that moves in your favor.

That day reminded me of one powerful truth. God is always with us even in the middle of the storm. When the world tries you, when you think you're alone, He is always there ready to put his hands on us. He may not stop the flood, but he make sure that we can get through it.

We should never forget that no matter how deep the water, how strong the current, or how difficult the situation we faced, there is always hope, and there is always a way out.
